People who suffer from an addiction to alcohol or drugs often need help to overcome those addictions. Topsail Addiction Treatment is here to help people stop using these substances and learn how to live their lives to the fullest.
As the premier rehab center near Andover, Massachusetts, Topsail works closely with each person who entrusts us with their treatment. We can tailor our program to meet the unique needs of everyone who comes to us.
We have several focal points at our rehab center. We understand that a one-size-fits-all approach to rehab isn’t going to work. Trying to shoehorn people in that manner increases the risk of individuals becoming frustrated.
Topsail’s Three Phases of Treatment for Drugs and Alcohol
Our program uses three levels of treatment to help you to slowly get to where you want to be. Each level builds upon the previous level to ensure that you have the tools you need to succeed.
Step 1: Full Day Treatment
In this step, you come to us for a full day of treatment five days per week. You spend between five and six hours with us. This is our most intensive option, and it’s usually utilized by individuals who have just completed an around-the-clock inpatient program.
The full-day treatment option enables you to focus on your recovery as you begin to reintegrate into society. The support helps to keep you on track by providing you with ample support. Our full-day treatment lasts approximately 14 to 30 days, depending on the timeline you need.
Step 2: Intensive Outpatient Treatment
During the intensive outpatient treatment program, you come to us three times per week. Each session lasts three to four hours. This gives you a bit more freedom without you having to worry about navigating an entire week alone. This phase of the program lasts 30 to 60 days for most people.
Step 3: Outpatient Treatment
During your outpatient treatment, you come in for about an hour per week. This is your time to check in so that you can ensure that you have what you need to succeed. We can easily work these sessions in around your other obligations, such as work or school. Most people use outpatient treatment for 60 to 120 days.
Customized Help When You Need It
One of the most important components of a drug or alcohol rehab program is determining the underlying cause of the addiction. This enables clients to address those issues so that they don’t keep creeping up and hindering sobriety.
At Topsail, we take a personal interest in each person who goes through our programs. We tailor your treatment to help you to work on the problems you’re facing. This includes things from your past, but it also includes anything that happens while you’re working with us. We want to see you succeed.
Multifaceted Treatment Plans
Most people who are going through the process of getting sober and learning to live a sober life need a variety of treatments. Topsail utilizes group therapy and individual therapy to ensure that each person gets the help they need.
Individual therapy is a time when you can discuss the specific problems you’re facing. These one-on-one sessions can include dealing with personal information you would rather not put out in a group setting.
Group therapy is a time for peer discussions and encouragement. You might be able to share tips that help others to succeed, and you may hear tips that help you to succeed. These group sessions may lead to friendships that support your sobriety.
We also help you plan for the future. Our aftercare planning helps you to set realistic goals. We include short-term goals that help create a bridge between therapy sessions. We also work on long-term goals. As we discuss these with you, we try to look down the road to determine any possible challenges you might face. We work with you to come up with coping mechanisms that you can use for those situations so that you don’t turn right back to the alcohol or drugs to cope.
