Outpatient Treatment Programs for Drugs and Alcohol Recovery at Topsail Addiction Treatment
Outpatient Treatment programs at Topsail Addiction Treatment are designed to provide drug and alcohol programs to help people in recovery at times that are conducive to their lifestyle.
An Outpatient Therapy schedule allows patients to meet their work, school, or other responsibilities and continue living at home while undergoing treatment and counseling, at our facility in Andover, MA.
TOPSAIL Outpatient Treatment programs are customized to fit the needs of the patient, but they generally include therapy and evaluation, counseling and therapy, education programs, and a network of support.
How Does Outpatient Treatment for Addiction Work?
The program begins with a consultation with one of our highly-trained staff. During this evaluation, you will work together to create a treatment plan that will work best for you.
This program is based on a variety of factors, including your goals, your lifestyle, your substance abuse history, family problems, and any co-occurring mental or physical issues.

Outpatient Therapy and Counselling
There is no one secret formula for treating addiction. The TOPSAIL model is to find the right mix of clinical, therapeutic tools and support that will give each individual their best chance at success.
TOPSAIL employs evidence-based treatment practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), medication-assisted therapies, and motivational interviewing among others.
Several factors are considered when determining the types of therapies that may be most beneficial to you, including the substance or substances you abused, whether you have a co-occurring mental health disorder, your age and past history with abuse and recovery, and many other issues that are unique to your situation.
