Does Insurance Cover Drug and Alcohol Treatment?
Most insurance companies will pay for some or all of your addiction treatment as part of their coverage. Topsail Addiction Treatment accepts most major insurance plans in MA.
If your plan covers addiction treatment at 100%, you may not have any out-of-pocket costs. Some plans have a deductible that you must meet before the insurance company starts paying for any covered services.Topsail is an In-Network Provider with Several Health Insurance Companies
The Affordable Care Act for Rehab Insurance Coverage
The Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as ‘Obamacare,’ is healthcare legislation that aims to “make affordable health insurance available to more people.” The ACA covers mental and behavioral health, and that explicitly includes addiction treatment. The amount of payment that will be covered depends on your ACA-sponsored health plan.
The ACA has given 32 million Americans access to substance abuse treatment and allows people 26 and younger to stay on their parents’ plan.
